Letkeman and Queens down Kodiaks, cap off undefeated season

Lethbridge, AB – The Red Deer Polytechnic Queens wrapped up the regular season as the only undefeated team in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Volleyball.
For the first time this year, the Queens were pushed to five sets, but they remained composed and dropped the Lethbridge College Kodiaks on the road for their 16th consecutive victory (25-22, 25-18, 24-26, 23-25 and 15-10).
Queens Player of the Game Emma Letkeman stacked up 45 assists, nine digs, three of the team's four aces and three kills. Middle McKenna Olson and outside hitter Jadyn Leong added 10 kills apiece.

Libero Kaylee Domoney had 18 digs, bumping her ACAC career dig totals to 1,153 to remain in fifth.
Kodiaks Player of the Game Jamie Brown had a match high 20 kills, along with 12 digs, one block, one assist and an ace. Mack Lewicki totaled 12 kills and 23 digs. Setter Johanna Dixon picked up 45 assists.
Shane Fowlie had two of Lethbridge College's eight service aces.
The RDP Queens (16-0) wrapped up first place in the ACAC South Division and will now prepare for the playoffs, beginning March 4.

ACAC Championship Format
The top two ranked teams in each division will receive a bye to the divisional semi-final game. The winner of the divisional semi-finals will be played to determine a first and second place team in each division.
These top teams from each division will crossover for the ACAC Final Four Championship, South 2 vs North 1 and N2 vs S1. All games will be played at one institution.

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women's Volleyball National Championship will take place from March 24 to 27 in Prince Edward Island. Holland College will host the event.
