Lac la Biche, AB - The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings delivered similar performances within 48 hours of one another.
The visitors had another strong offensive third period, scoring a trio and sealing a 6-3 road victory over the Portage College Voyageurs.
Kings first-year forward Erik Miller was the only player to light the lamp in the first period.
After Portage College evened the contest 1-1 at 3:40 of the middle frame, the teams traded goals. RDP's Jacob Kendall and Portage College's Shane Sherban responded within two minutes of one another.
Before the end of the stanza, Jaxon Steele struck on the power play, lifting the Kings ahead 3-2.

Then the Polytechnic got rolling in the third period.
Miller beat Voyageurs netminder Jacob Gnidziejko on the power play at 6:16. It was Miller's fourth goal and 12th point of the season.
Then the Kings went up 6-2 with a shorthanded marker from Chase Haygarth and even strength goal from Ryley Smith.
Brody Dale brought the home team with three. Kings goaltender Arik Weersink held the fort the rest of the way and the visitors picked up the victory.
Konrad Belcourt and Tucker Scantlebury had two assists each for the Polytechnic.
Kings defenceman Jantzen Leslie was in the lineup, but RDP was still without several student-athletes.
Miller, a Business Administration General student, received the Kings Player of the Game award. Brody Dale picked up the honour for the Voyageurs.
Weersink made 30 saves for the win in net. Gnidziejko stopped 26 shots.
Camrose's Kendall leads the Kings with 14 points over 10 games.
The third place Red Deer Polytechnic Kings (6-1-2-1) will challenge the top seed NAIT Ooks (8-0-0-0) on Friday, February 11 at 7 pm at home.
