Caronport, SK - A quick start from the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings put the Briercrest College Clippers on their heels.
The visitors jumped out to a 24-15 lead over the opening 10 minutes, setting the tone for a 100-83 road victory.
Eight of Antonio Benjamin's 21 points occurred in the first quarter.
The RDP Kings won three of the four quarters in another consistent effort. Their biggest offensive production came in the third quarter (30 points) with Tyronn King (eight points) and Eduardo Crespo (eight) leading the charge.
King led the Polytechnic with 22 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals. The fifth-year was perfect from the free-throw line (six-of-six). Crespo came off the bench, scoring 10 points.
