RDP Athletics Update

This week, the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey squad will open the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Championship. The RDP Indoor Track team will compete at the ACAC Championships in Edmonton. The Kings Hockey team will play the Portage College Voyageurs in the semi-finals. The Red Deer Polytechnic Dance team will participate in the True West Dance Competition.

Here is a summary of the upcoming competition:

Hockey

Queens at Rustlers | Friday, March 6 | 7:15 pm

The Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey team will take on the Lakeland College Rustlers in game one of the best-of-five ACAC Women's Hockey Championship at the Cenovus Energy Hub.

Queens vs. Rustlers | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Saturday, March 7 | 5 pm

The RDP Queens will host the Rustlers in game two of the ACAC Championship.

Kings vs. Voyageurs | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Friday, March 6 | 7 pm

The RDP Kings Hockey team will play the Portage College Voyageurs in game one of the best-of-three ACAC Men's Hockey Semi-final series.  

Kings vs. Voyageurs | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Saturday, March 7 | 8 pm

The Kings and Voyageurs will meet in Red Deer for game two of the series.

Kings vs. Voyageurs | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Sunday, March 8 | 5 pm

If necessary, the RDP Kings will host the Portage College Voyageurs in the third and final game of the semi-finals.

ACAC Indoor Track Championships | Kinsmen Sports Centre | March 7-8

The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and Queens Indoor Track teams will challenge for medals in Edmonton.

Dance

Queens | True West Dance Competition | Calgary | March 7-8

The Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Dance team will compete in Calgary.
