RDP Athletics Update

RDP Athletics Update

The Red Deer Polytechnic Basketball and Volleyball teams will play the Ambrose University Lions. The RDP Indoor Track team will participate in Running Room Grand Prix #2.

Here is a summary of the upcoming competition:

Indoor Track

Running Room Grand Prix #2 | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Saturday, February 14 | 8 am

The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and Queens Indoor Track teams will host Running Room Grand Prix #2 at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.

 

Volleyball

Queens at Lions | Friday, February 13 | 6 pm

The top-seed Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Volleyball team (14-2) will compete against the fourth-place Ambrose University Lions (9-9) in Calgary. Autumn Letwin (Bachelor of Education) ranks second in the league with 0.87 blocks per set.

Kings at Lions | Friday, February 13 | 8 pm

The first-place RDP Kings Volleyball squad (14-2) will play the fourth-place Ambrose University Lions (9-9). Evan Ockerman, a fifth-year middle from Elk Point, leads ACAC Men's Volleyball with 0.80 blocks per set.

Basketball

Queens vs. Lions | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Friday, February 13 | 6 pm

The seventh-place Queens Basketball team (5-12) will host the sixth-place Ambrose University Lions (6-11). This season, Jorgia Hicks has totaled 69 assists, ranking fifth in ACAC Women's Basketball.

Queens at Lions | Saturday, February 14 | 6 pm

The Red Deer Polytechnic Queens will face the Lions on the road.

Kings vs. Lions | Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre | Friday, February 13 | 8 pm

The seventh-place RDP Kings Basketball team (2-15) will clash with the fourth-seed Ambrose University Lions (9-8) at home. The Kings have been successful on 64.2 per cent of their free-throws.

Kings at Lions | Saturday, February 14 | 8 pm

The Kings will tip-off against the Lions.
